crazy weather loaches

I have two weather loaches that I love to death. But lately they've been becoming a little too hyper to the point where they jump into the filter. Sometimes they're in there for hours and I have to scoop them out each time. I know they're doing it just because they know it makes me mad. Does anyone else have crazy weather loaches like these?
