I'm planning on medicating my big Clown Loach with deworming meds first. I'm not sure about the Big Sids. They seem to be eating better and doing well at this point. So, I'm going to wait on them a bit.
I need to get the pH to at least 6.8 from water that is moderately hard and has a pH of 7.8. I'm going to have to use 1/2 RO water and a pH buffer (Seachem?) to get the water on the acid side and have it stay there.
Any advice on how to best acclimate a very weak and sick Clown Loach from pH 7.8 to 6.8? How long of a period of acclimation and what method would be best?
Thanks for any ideas you can give.
