just checking info about clowns

Hello! I got four clown loaches a few months ago. They are actually quite delightful!!! very funny. They like to chase each other. They immediately developed ich upon getting them into my tank. I treated for ich by increasing temp, salt, and half dose maracide. So far no more ich. I treated for 10 days. Anyway, recently I've noticed that they like to lay on their sides. I know I read that this is normal, but its kinda weird when you've never had a fish that's done this before. I'm just double checking with everyone that this is normal? They didn't do it (that I saw) when we first got them. Could this be because they were nervous and didn't relax when we were near the tank in the beginning? They display NO signs of illness at all right now, so I guess i'm just
