Skunk loaches and the men who love them!

I have three skunk loaches and and unidentified loach species that was sold to me with the skunks in one of my tanks. It has faint dark bands across its body, and a dark spot near the base of its tail. I tried to look for the species in both Baensch vol. 1 and 2 but couldn't find the species. This loach is the dominant one and resides under a large log in my 100 Gal tank. It has digged an elaborate house under the log and, every few days he also addes to his house. This was going on for three years now. Although skunks are not the most attractive loaches at first glance, I found that with a snail rich diet they develop a beutiful irridecence along their sides, and their markings become stronger. I strongly suggest that they be purchased at a minimum as a group of three. Their social interactions are facinating. Consider their subdued colouring at the store as a b
