Someone plz help!

I have only one loach but this is just a small community tank i have (10g)I came home after leaving for about 3 hours and when i came back they all were just sitting near the rocks with almost all color lost in some, some were fun but they all were acting funny. Does anyone know what can cause this over a couple of hours. The one loach i had was a kuhlii and had ick which i had been treating for . Can this be ick does it kill them within hours?
