Power cut for 7 hours on a tank

I had a power outage on my main 66 Gal tank yesterday. The heater exploded and tripped a fuse bringing the whole tank down. I would like to know how long the bacteria in the filter can survive without water being pumped through it. As I have a 7" clown and 4 x 3" clowns + 2 yo-yos, I would really like to know if I should re-seed the filter from another tank or am I fretting over nothing ? The temp dropped about 3 degrees during the day. The fish seem fine now, but is the 'dead' filter a time bomb ?

I would also like to say that I really appreciate all the advice I have been given so far. I am sure I would have had more fatalities as a beginner than I have had if you all had not been there to help. so Thanks !

Graham
