SPECIES 8472...no wait that's Star Trek (ha ha ha)

It's scientific name is Botia macracanthus. Use any search engine...you will find tons and tons of info on it. Their colors look somewhat like a Tiger Barb's, only they get much bigger and are generally less agressive. Their black bands very greatly in shape and width and they are bottom feeders as Mike said. There is a picture of one in most encyclopedias under Fish.
