hi allen!

well, i think you are making the right choice in separating the fish initially, to see how it behaves. The strange thing with mine is that it was initially in a 10 gallon tank that is separated with a pentax plastic sheet (for babies or whatever on one side, and other fish on the other) and in that tank, small as it was, he didnt eat or maul anyone. It wasnt until I put him into the 55 gallon that he started th killing spree. weird. So for now, i put ghost boy back into the separted 10 gallon tank, along with mr. nippy my hora's loach, a huge pineapple swordtail female which i figure i can replace with one of my 50+ babies when they mature, a black molly (ditto with the replacing), and several common feeder guppies. You would think with that many fish in such little quarters he would start killing, but so far, no. weird!

I will keep u posted. You do the same! Good luck. And just remember, whatever happens with it will be a learning experience. So in that aspect, u can't lose! You'll know for next time, at least!
