Should I be afraid of clowns?

I have one clown loach, about 2-1/2 inches long, in my 55-gal. tank and two others (finally!) now in quarantine waiting to join the first. But I also have special and expensive plecos (two gold nuggets and two candystripes), as well as corys and raphael cats, in that tank and after reading all the queries about "who ate the pleco?" I'm getting worried! I've seen the clown hanging out with the gold nuggets (even sharing a cave, although there are plenty of empty ones available), so had not given a thought to the possibility of anything other than peaceful co-existence. Should I be worried?
