spot on clown's nose

I bought a clown loach a couple of days ago and I just noticed that he has a white spot (about 1-2 mm) on his nose. It almost looks like a deformity. I'm assuming (hoping) it's from an injury. Is there any disease that might look like that? He's active, eating fine, and color's good. (I bought 4 others at the same time and they also look fine.) They're in a 55 gallon recently cycled tank.
