Hi, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I know how it feels. I have lost a few clowns in spite of being as carfull as I can. One was a real big guy as well, about 6-7". It's awfull to come down in the morning and see a dead body there. I found it's simple the shock of being moved that does them in. They hate being plunged into different water, even if it's more or less the same Ph KH etc. You could, I suppose, ask the lfs if you could have a load of their water to put in your tank, and change it very very slowly of over a week to your own water.. This is going very far I know, but at $12 each ( wow ! ) I suppose it's worth it. Good luck
