Report on clown introduction (long).

I have followed most of the advice given earlier on the board. I found three 4-7 cm fat, active and colourful clowns in the store, and couldn't resist buying them all (In Sweden about 8 US$ each). Perhaps too many clowns in a 40 l tank but I have a feeling that water quality and number of hiding places are more important than space, at least for temporary accommodation?

I was told that they have been kept in the store for about 6 months. The tank, at the time temporarily fish-empty, but since four months established tank I used as quarantine is densely planted with H. polysperma and Lilliopsis sp. and has a 3-cm gravel layer with a lot of snai
