Hmmm...I dont' know much about the Dojo loach you were speaking of, but I can tell you my experience with Kulhi loaches. I have five of them in my tank, and I think they're wonderful. Most of the information i've seen/heard about these loaches says that they're primarily nocturnal, hide in small crevaces, and stay at the bottom of the tank. However, mine seem to be strange that way and do almost the opposite, in that they're quite active during the day, they like to swim around all levels of the tank (although they primarily reside on the bottom), and have very regular habits of being out in the open and hiding/sleeping.

As the other gentleman pointed out, temperature is probably the determining factor when deciding on either of these fish, but
