Gouramis and clowns

I have a question about my gold gourami male. He has been very aggressive lately. He has been chasing around my head and tail light tetras, and also my clown loaches and my blue gourami male. After he chases these fish he goes to the top and blows bubbles for a while. He does not touch my gold gourami female because she is always hiding. My question is: Is there anything I can do to make him less aggressive? I want to do this because when he gets wild all the fish in my tank are spooked including my giant angelfish who usually ends up chasing the nearest fish. My bigger clown loach is scared to death. He loses his color and goes to his favorite hiding spot. Also why is he doing this all of a sudden? Any suggestions would be useful.
