Formaldehyde comes out of solution quite readily especially if you have the airstone going, which I assume you do given the high temperature you are keeping the loaches. The malachite green also degrades. So, don't do any water changes for 48 hours after your first dose. That gives you two doses prior to a change.

After 48 hours, do a thorough vaccuming of the gravel bed to rid it as much as possible of any cysts. If you want to dose again for one more time, you may.

The white spots on your fish are pustules. They are indicative of two things: first, your fi
