? about possible parasite on my Dojo

I have a year and a half old Weather Loach with a strange leision on the bridge of her nose. She developed this pink bump on her nose a couple weeks ago along with what looked like grains of salt along her body. I started treating for Ich a week ago and the white grains are gone, however, the leision seems to just be getting larger and has split open. It can't be very pleasant for the poor fish, as it now is a much enlarged pink ridge that is split open and extends almost from nostril to nostril. Has anyone ever encountered something similar??
