If your snails are going on to multiple generations and your fish are fine, escargot is great.

The snails I would be leery of are the ones coming in with plant shipments from places like Singapore.

Remember, all fish have parasites, except maybe Jack Whattley's discus that grow up on beefhearts. Brrrrrrr.....

The problem with parasites is when the fish are stressed from shipments etc. etc. etc.
