Hello! I posted a question a few questions down about a clown loach that may have internal parasites. The recommended treatment is Levamisole. I read in the FAQ that you need a pH of less than 7 to make the drug effective. I have very high pH in my tap water. It comes out 7.6-7.8 sometimes i test it its 8.0. My tank usually is 7.6-7.8. The "RO" water that I buy is soft and the carbonate hardness is only 4 or 5 degrees but the pH is still pretty high. I'm not sure how I could get my pH down in order to use the medicine. I have heard that the pH chemicals can be unreliable and unpredictable. Any advice?? thanks!
