I regret to say that my clown loach purchase was somewhat uneducated. I read about what food to feed them and that they need/like to be with several together, but I didn't realize how big they could get until after I already had them. They are very small right now considering how big they could get. Not including the tail they are just over an inch. Is this size ok in their 30 gallon tank for now? Any clue as to how long it would take a clown to grow to this larger size-- like how long till I should worry about getting a larger tank? or should I already be considering it? thanks for answering my silly questions!
