Rupicola loach

CalamariGirl saw a loach by the name Rupicola loach. Has anyone else seen this guy. He is pictured on my site as a mystry loach.

I was not able to find anything using that name spacific to loaches. None of my books had anything, not the net spacific to Loaches nor Botia. But the Rupicola seemed to be something that is from the Peru/Ecuador reigon of South America. I didn't find fish, but did see some plants, birds and spiders with Rupicola in their name. So, I am guessing that these guys are from SA and not a botia. Well I kind of new they were not of the Botia family, that was in the looks.

But if anyone has any info on them please let us know.

My pics of the little guys are on my loach page. http://www.voicenet.com/~d
