I recently was given a 50 and found that my "stand" couldn't handle the weight so we immediately moved it again. I figure 400 lbs of water, 20 plus pounds of gravel and then the lightest thing, the fish. I drained the water, saved as much as I could, scooped out the gravel, moved the rocks etc and left the fish in with nothing to crush or fall on them. Then we put it all back together. It IS glass after all, despite plastic around the rim. My brother in law offer to make me a stand, so we'll have to do it again soon. Bummer, but it will be easier for me to see the fish and harder for the Dog, she is still as f
