River Dance.............er.........Tank.

The story so far. I built the water intake manifold and ordered the Project Powerheads mail order. So I sit patiently waiting for the stuff to arrive (about a week). Postman turns up with just the bulk Flake I ordered........no powerheads. They're discontinued and the company never told me in the interim, so now I have to re-order something else instead.
Decided to site the tank in the lounge. Needed something to stand it on, so I decided to invest in a 2 tier metal stand. This means I can get the other tank out of my bedroom and centralise things somewhat. Whilst buying the stand, I get tempted by a great deal on a BIG air pump. Tempted enough to buy it. I have been using several old pumps and this will allow me to run everything off one, with a bit of pipe-running around the skirting-board and door frame. This is getting more expensive!
Today I ordered 2 Aquaclear 802 Powerheads from another company, with next day delivery. Not quite as powerful, but a good, reliable make with good spares availability, and plenty enough oomph for this tank. When they arrive, I'll make up the manifold and joining tubes.
With the thread on tank-moving, I have to report picking up and placing the tank all by myself (44"X18"X15"). Heavy, but (just) manageable. Was that Burly enough, JL? I have new gravel to clean, plus I'll be buying some larger cobble-stones in various sizes to build up the decor.
If all goes according to plan, I should have it up and running by next week.
Martin.
