I need IMMEDIATE HELP!

I just found out today(from bottle of coppersafe that I found in the cupboard) that my loaches do NOT have ick, they DO have velvet. I put in the suggested ammount of coppersafe and covered my aquarium so that it is dark(I did this a little while ago and the white spots appeared to be gone so I uncovered my tank and it came back) and I also turned up the temp and added salt. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks for any help
