My dad's are about 4 inches and don't look much like the species you said. They look much more like Pseudotropheus "eduardi" as the book lists it. If eggs were ever lain than they got swallowed because every once in a while one of their mouths swells up and is like that for about a week until they suddenly dissappear. I don't think any eggs have ever hatched from them because this mouth swelling may be because the two cichlids lock mouths and try to tear each other's jaws off. THey both have the egg spots, but one of them has more than the other.
