In Response To: Slow down Fishface (Dr. Momfish)

Harking back to my "Sunscreen" re-write all I have to say is this:

WE ALL NEED SELF-CONTROL.

Don't berate yourself.

What Dr. Momfish says comes from the wisdom of age, not youth.

When you've kept fish for 30-several years like myself, you'll realise that no matter how long you live, you'll never get to keep every fish you may desire.

But desire, because that's half the fun.

But control the desire.

Or it will control you, and ultimately you'll make those snap purchases when you shouldn't.

And the fish will suffer.

The last thing you want is for something you love to suffer.

In those 30-odd years, I've been there.

I've made those snap purchases.

I've let the desire control me.

And I've almost always regretted it.

Age has brought me control, but it's never stopped the desire.

TRUST ME ON THE SELF-CONTROL.

Martin.
