In Response To: A question about Plants (Michael Ophir)

Hi,

Hard to say without any info on your tank conditions, but most often it's just not enough light. ALso there are plants which are easier than others - you might try anubias (expensive but hard to kill) or Amazon sword. There are also some plants which prefer soft acidic water and others which need hard alkaline water, and everything in between.

It took me a couple of years and MUCH reading to get to where I have a thriving planted tank - but it's worth it, and I'm sure the fish are more comfortable.

Joan
