In Response To: Dwarf Loach/Chained Loach (kiss my fish)

Hi,

(do I call you "kiss", "kmf" or the whole caboodle??)

Anyway, the rumour has been for some time that a breeder of sidthimunki has given up/gone away/passed on and that is why so many large sized sids have suddenly appeared on the market. If you look at some previous posts you will see there was a huge hunt for sids, then suddenly not only did they appear everywhere, but they were big. I sincerely hope that this 'pond' in Thailand was/is not the only source, as captive breeding efforts do not appear to have been a resounding success.

Enjoy your dojo; good that you were able to find one so soon. Botia lovers' problems are usually that the one we particularly want, is the one totally unavailable at the moment. Ask Martin, he'll tell you.

Anne
