clown loach addition

hi there, this is my first posting.

i currently have three clown loaches in my 45 gallon tank. they have a long established pecking order and are just thriving. my question is that a friend of mine wants to give me a single clown loach because he is moving. i want the clown but am fearful to what may happen to my others when this newcomer is introduced. the one my friend is offering is a little smaller than my two big ones and a bit bigger than my smallest. other inhabitants in the tank are a black ghost knife, a shoal of harlequins and a group of eight rummy-nose tetras.
