To The other Tom W.& et.all: The sids I have look pretty much like the ones pictured in Baench 1 pg. 373 and more like the ones pictured in Axelrods Atlas 8th edition pg. 896. The large ones I saw to me seemed to have a more pointed nose, and with some individuals, the pattern was breaking up variously from the belly up. There were a few that had only dark dashes on their backs, most did have the sid pattern. They were in a bare tank and would have retailed for $35-$45. The ones I have had for almost three years have a white belly but I have seen a few with the vericle bars extending through to the bottom of the belly. I have seen more show up in Milwaukee the past two years but haven't seen any other large ones. How are they spawning them in Thiland? Ponds? I have had lohachatas go through apparent spawning drives but never found any eggs.
