Can Loaches learn?

My clown loach always sticks onto the filter grate thing on my penguin filter after feeding to get chunks stuck to it. Just a little bit ago I saw my yoyo loach doing this. Now thismorning, I saw my newest loach, a little yoyo doing this same thing. Can loaches(or any other fish that small)learn? I know that angelfish have some intelligence since if you put your hand at the surface they see if there is any food, but I didn't know loaches were this way too.
