They do seem to be cropping up everywhere right now. I wonder if they really are "rare," or have just never really been offered on the market much before. Maybe if they prove popular, they will become more common in the future. The old "supply & demand" thing.

Got a question for ya, JL. I am considering setting up a 20 gal long "experimental" plant tank, kind of like JD's. I was thinking of trying sand in it as a substrate, since I bet loaches would really like that. (I still havent decided what substrate to use if I get the 75 & this could be a trial run). Where did you buy your beautiful black & white sands again?
