In Response To: Seems kinda true (Cinder)

I use a 50/50 mix of Estes brand flooring sand (black) and regular white silica sand. There is one place in Seattle that carries the Estes flooring sand. It's an industrial supply place. Sorry, I don't remember the name. The white silica was difficult to come by in the Seattle area. I had mine stashed away in storeage for years. Try calling around, is my best advice...not only to aquarium stores, but perhaps to industrial supply places that might use it for sand blasting. Good luck, Cinder! :-)
