The Denver Zoo's tropical discovery area has a tank of nautilii. They've been there for over a year that I know of (assuming they are the same ones). They say they chill the water but don't pressurize it. Another store had one for several years; its name was Thumper because it couldn't control its buoyancy. As it chased feeders it would jet along the surface of the tank, thumping against the glass lid. The owner ascribed this to the pressure diffferential, but the ones in the zoo don't do this. Possibly Thumper's "valves" that control the amount of air in the shell chambers were faulty.
