In Response To: A quarter inch? (Martin Thoene)

We live in a highrise that is built of poured concrete. All the floors are crooked. The water levels in the tanks vary from front to back or side to side. It's amazing. There's nothing I can do except put big coins under the metal stand legs to level things out and even then, I'm not going to empty the tanks all over again because the level's still off by two eight's of an inch over 3 feet.

I know, I know, I should have bought a carpenter's level in the first place. Well, it's a few too many tanks late now. I'll get one when we move (oh help!! and freak out!!) next time and hope I don't lose it amongst all the boxes. :):)
