I will be using power filters. I will not be using any type of ugf. I have no experience with them and it seems that most people end up having problems with them. So now which gravel do I put on top-new or old? I still lean toward new on top. Such a simple question and such a complex answer. I guess that is the fishkeeping hobby though, learning, learning and more learning! Thanx to all who try to help.
