The chestnut, again!

My Loach book says birdi and almorhae are very close related but different sp. The birdi should have quite short ventral fins whereas the ventral fins of the almorhae should reach up to the anus. Personally I´m not convinced that this is enough to keep these sp separated but I`m not a taxonomist (and somewhat glad!).
