Confused over Botia modesta

I just introduced two botias into our "main" tank. After five or six hours they came out of hiding, paired up, and have settled into what appears to be a calm, happy loachy life. The only spat I observed came in a territorial dispute between them and the knife fish. They've now been in the tank about 24 hours. My question? I'm not sure who I have. Like LOL, one source groups "blue botia" with "red finned botia" under the name B.modesta and gives warning about mean behavior. Another book, "Catfish and Loaches" put out by Tetra, shows a "red finned loach" with a similar dull grey body with red/orange fins and a dark spot near its tail -- the picture and description are identical to mine. But the Tetra book calls this a B.pulchripinnis. I b
