botia compatibility: striata & lohachata

Hello!
I was very happy with a tank of 3 Botia striata who are active and not at all shy. Recently I have been given a pair of B. lohachata. Would it be wise to put them toguether if the tank is well-planted and with hiding places?
Loach details gives an agression rating of 1 for B. striata and 2 for B. lohachata. Also, my lohachatas are almost 3 inches in length and fat while the striatas are just under 2 inches and neither thin nor fat. However, the lohachatas tend to hide all the time (or while I'm around anyway). The tank is around 25 gallon (90 litres).
Any advice for / against?
Thanks,
