Hi. Yes the same happens to my Loaches too. Mostly only my Clown Loaches, Skunk Loaches, Queen Loaches (Botia Dario), and Yo Yo Loaches produce this noise. Mainly they do it at feeding noise. I have only heard it from the Botias and not my other types of Loaches. My Modestas do this on occassions.
