Flow rate calculations.

Dave, I've gone for just the 2 longitudal tubes as well. I put the manifold into the tank testerday. Retro-fitting one of these is FUN! Trying to get the thing uniformally buried under the gravel is not one of my favourite fishkeeping experiences.

Today, I had a flash of inspiration and popped 2 lengths of pipe into the vacant powerhead T-pieces, shoved an airline down each and instantly (well nearly) had an air operated system. It'll do till I get the powerheads.

I did some calculations based on a 48"x15"x12" using 2 Aquaclear 402's.

Tank holds 28 Imp. Gals, 36 USG, 126L.
