chain sword and clowns ?

Hi l'm thinking of planting the front part of my tank with chain sword that l intend to grow as a low cover for the front of my tank . l need to plant most of my tank due to the substrate l'm using, l don't want parts of substrate to rot . l want to know, do clown loaches and other loaches mind having most of the tank planted ? seeing they are bottom dwelling fish, and is chain sword ok ? Other plants l'm thinking of is amazon sword and java fern, don't know what others yet . TIA
