Maybe I should look into that extra insurance coverage. I know when I first filled my 125 gallon tank I had visions of coming home to find that it had plummeted through the living room floor to explode in the basement. What an incredible mess that would be! Fortunately the floor was up to the challenge. I'm curious what methods there are to secure tanks against earthquakes. Does anyone here take any precautions? When I build my house someday, I'm toying with the idea of installing drains under the large tanks...
