In Response To: See no problems with the loaches...but (Hans)

I've always had just *one* bala and he is a very healthy, beautiful fish. Our clown loaches have always schooled with him so he has never been lonely. We've had 3 clown loaches, the bala and an angelfish together for going on 2 years and they're a great group of fish. Bala was a teensy little 3" baby when we got him. He started out in a 28 g and reached nearly 4 1/2" in that tank; he's now in a 45g and is rapidly approaching 7". Can't wait to see how big he'll get in the 110g we're drooling over!

It has been my experience that clowns and bala(s) are peaceful tankmates. As I said, the clowns school with him (read that to mean they swim so close that their bodies touch) and this tank is great. Don't know
