new batch

A few weeks ago I bought a new batch of clowns and put them in my 3 year old 3- gallon tank. I got them at PetSmart. Unfortuneatly, I only have 2 left out of 6. I just can't seem to keep them in my 30 Gallon tank. I've tried about five times now. The clowns in my 55 gallon are doing very well. I probably just got a bad batch this time. I don't think I'll ever try them in the 30 gallon again. Thge water quality, temperature, Ph, etc, are fine. Any comments?
