Congratulations on your new purchase. Which type of filter are you using now? Is it an undergravel or a power filter? I'm perfectly content with the power filters...particularly the Aqua Clears. Their filter media is one of the largest in that it can house lots of beneficial bacteria. Plus, the aqua clear always kicks back on after a power outage. Not even the Whisper I own does that.
