Great to read the story about the loach escaping! They like doing this and its amazing how they get through small holes that you think they won't be able to squeeze through, they're brilliant, and full of character.

I had one escape and I assumed it had died and been eaten by the others. We looked everywhere, under the bed, even pulled the chest of drawers out and looked behind that. There was no fishy smell so thats why we assumed she had died and been eaten by the others. Then SIX years later we removed my wardrobe which was next to the ches
