Emma, my 6 Clowns are usually pretty OK with one another, but 2 did have a pretty violent encounter a few weeks back, although no damage was seen.

Now one thing that occurs to me is that if you'd had them for 7 years the possibility of impending sexual maturity (as Fran mentioned)which has to be a possibility.

Recently here there's been talk of Botias getting red around the mouth and barbels, apparently being a clue to sexual dimorphism (differences). Is it possible that the red
