Hello everyone,

Happy almost new year....

Question for the wise:

I have a 2-3 year old dragon head gutter down spout that was made in Mexico of the stuff red clay plant pots are made of (I know a lot of you use these pots in your tanks)... it has been outside since we moved to the new house without gutters... just lying around... so I wondered if it would be safe to put this in with my kids... as far as I know, it has not had any chemicals on it... but... without being 100% sure, is there anything I can do to make sure it is safe for tank use??? could I soak it in something? I do not think it is the sort of thing that could stand boiling...
