I have not yet fed my loaches zucchini, but I used to feed it to my Pleco and the Otto Cats all the time. I like to slice it into a circle and boil it for several minutes beforehand. The reason for this is that the zucchini just falls to the bottom of the tank and stays there, no weights or clips necessary. I have seen my loaches attack the spirulina discs which I throw in for the pleco (I now have to throw in at least two at a time to avoid conflict). Since they both enjoy that vegetarian food source, I assume they will also like the zucchini. Just haven't got around to buying any yet. Hope this is useful.
