In Response To: Clown Loach questions.. (Jeff Jarmoc)

Jeff : You should only buy a clown(or clowns) if you actually want them, not because it may clean up your snail problem. There are plenty of ways to rid your tank of snails without having to buy another fish. Just before lights out, take an empty plastic film cannister and bury it in your aquarium so that the top is about level with gravel. Place a sinking wafer or pellet in the cannister, and when you get up , go to tank and remove the cannister and all the snails which have come to feed there. Repeat this each night, and you will eventually get the problem under control.
